Udacity Connect sessions are focused on delivering three key benefits: Collaboration: You'll have the opportunity to work with your Session Lead and peers to complete projects, overcome challenges, and master new concepts. Accountability: You'll benefit from check-ins with your Session Lead, who will help you with goal-setting, time management, and motivation. Efficiency: By attending your connect sessions and spending around 10 - 15 hours per week on your independent study, you will successfully complete your track just in time. How many times should I attend my weekly connect sessions? Virtual sessions will be held on a weekly basis, on the same day and time allotted to you. Attending sessions is mandatory and failing to attend will result in you losing your place in the program. What is the duration of the connect session? The duration of the physical session is two hours and 30 minutes, including breaks and training activities. Attendance is taken on a regular basis. Where should I find the link to my online sessions? All the details regarding your sessions like the date, time and zoom link will be updated on the Sessions page. Can I change my session day and time? Unfortunately, once you select the connect session time during your enrollment, it cannot be changed. Please attend your session as per the details shown inside your classroom to maintain your progress in the initiative I'm having a problem with the weekly virtual session timing and can't attend other sessions. What should I do? Sorry to hear that! Your preferred connect session timing has been considered before the start of the program. Unfortunately, we can’t switch any sessions. I have missed a connect session, what should I do? You must go to the Sessions page, navigate to the session you missed, click the three dots, select Request Excused Absence, fill in the reason for your absence, and then click submit. You might receive an email to attach proof of your absence excuse. Keep an eye on your inbox/junk/spam folders.
